The Full Moons children enjoy a bi-weekly trip to Kitebrook Preparatory School, where they get to access the vast Forest School area. We are lucky enough to be taken to the school via a minibus (which adds to the excitement). We are then greeted by a Forest School Teacher who takes the lesson, showing the children how to enjoy the outdoors and explore the environment. Forest School has so many benefits to learning, including enhanced self-esteem, improved social skills, and a deeper connection to nature, fostering holistic development in children.

Not only is it fun but the children are helping to close the developmental milestones from our unique curriculum:
US: Understands the need to take care of their immediate environment.
US: Understands the need to take care of the natural world.
CHALLENGE: Solves real life problems.
IMAGINATION: Talks about their ideas and plans how to achieve the outcome they desire.
COMMUNICATION: Uses descriptive language when talking to peers and adults. 

And to add to this.........on top of fun and learning, being outdoors also has huge benefits on Mental Health.
