Sending your child to nursery is never an easy decision, and we understand how much trust it requires. At Banana Moon Chipping Norton, our aim is always to ease that worry by creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for every single day.
One of the most important ways we do this is through our commitment to safety. All staff receive the required Paediatric First Aid Training, and a trained team member is always present in the room whenever children are eating. Staff sit with the children during mealtimes to ensure close supervision and to support safe eating habits.
We are fortunate enough to have been supplied with a LifeVac device, kindly donated by Eden Training Solutions. In addition, our foyer is equipped with our own defibrillator, generously provided by the Banana Moon Franchise. This device is available for community use during our opening hours, offering an extra layer of reassurance for families and staff alike.
These life‑saving resources form part of our ongoing commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing, and sit within our wider initiative: Big Moments, Bright Futures. This initiative focuses on the meaningful impact we can have during the most critical years of a child’s life, ensuring every moment is supported with care, intention, and readiness.
Having these devices on site helps give both staff and families peace of mind, knowing that everything possible has been put in place to protect the children while they are in our care.
